Deepak Banerjee, MD, FSCAI, RPVI
Dr. Banerjee completed his general and interventional cardiology training at MCV-VCU, Richmond, VA in 2005 and is board certified in both. He is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. He relocated to Martinsville from the Hampton Roads area in 2010. His expertise includes evaluation and treatment of all diseases of the heart and blood vessels. He also specializes in vein procedures including laser, phlebectomy and sclerotherapy. He is on staff at Sovah Health - Martinsville Hospital and Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA. In addition, he has a strong collaboration with the cardiologists at Carilon Clinic in Roanoke and Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, NC to ensure contemporary, quality care to all Stateline patients.
Karen Garrett, PA-C
Karen Garrett is a Virginia native and has lived in Martinsville for over 20 years. She completed her undergraduate education at Guilford College with a double major in biology and chemistry. She graduated from the physician assistant program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine with honors in 1999. She has over 20 years of experience in adult medicine with special interest in women's health including contraceptive management and menopause management. Over the last several years, she has expanded her expertise to numerous cosmetic procedures including botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels and medical grade skin care products to assist with anti-aging. She has attended numerous advanced injectables courses instructed by top injectors in the country.
Andy Quinn JR., FNP
Andy comes to Stateline Heart and Vascular with 24 years of experience in critical care, occupational health, family health, and cardiology. He received his Registered Nursing Diploma from Danville Regional Medical Center School of Nursing in 1994 and bachelor’s degree from Averett College in 1989. He then continued his education and obtained his Master’s of Nursing from Liberty University in 2013, followed by his Postgraduate Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Tennessee Technological University in May 2016. After obtaining his RN degree in 1994 he worked in the Intensive Care Unit at Morehead Memorial Hospital in the North Carolina for 10 years. Later, he managed an Intensive Care Unit at Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, North Carolina for five years. His most recent position, prior to joining Stateline Heart and Vascular, was as a Family Nurse Practitioner at SOVAH Health Family Medical Center Brosville. In addition to his nursing career, he also volunteered as an Emergency Medical Technician for nine years. He currently reside in Danville Virginia and is married to his wife, Starlette. They have three beautiful children together. When he is not working, he enjoys music and playing the guitar or being outside hiking or riding bikes.
