Deepak Banerjee

Deepak Banerjee, MD, FSCAI, RPVI


Dr. Banerjee completed his general and interventional cardiology training at MCV-VCU, Richmond, VA in 2005 and is board certified in both. He is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. He relocated to Martinsville from the Hampton Roads area in 2010. His expertise includes evaluation and treatment of all diseases of the heart and blood vessels. He also specializes in vein procedures including laser, phlebectomy and sclerotherapy. He is on staff at Sovah Health - Martinsville Hospital and Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA. In addition, he has a strong collaboration with the cardiologists at Carilon Clinic in Roanoke and Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, NC to ensure contemporary, quality care to all Stateline patients.



Karen Garrett

Karen Garrett, PA-C


Karen Garrett is a Virginia native and has lived in Martinsville for over 25 years. She completed her undergraduate education at Guilford College with a double major in biology and chemistry. She graduated from the physician assistant program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine with honors in 1999. She has over 22 years of experience in adult medicine with special interest in women's health including contraceptive management and menopause management. Over the last several years, she has expanded her expertise to numerous cosmetic procedures including botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels and medical grade skin care products to assist with anti-aging. She has most recently added laser hair removal, Morpheus8 fractional skin treatment for anti aging, acne scaring and stretch marks, as well as IPL (intense pulsed light) to treat pigmented and vascular lesions. She has attended numerous advanced injectables courses instructed by top injectors in the country.


Abdul Q. Haji

Abdul Q. Haji, MD


Abdul Q. Haji, MD, specializes in general cardiology and electrophysiology, including catheter ablations and pacemaker and defibrillator implantation to treat arrhythmias and other conditions. He received his medical degree from Kashmir University in India, residency and general cardiology training from Nassau University Medical Center affiliated with SUNY Stony Brook in 1998 and electrophysiology training at SUNY Downstate Medical center in 2000 and is board certified in both general cardiology and electrophysiology. He relocated to Martinsville from Northern Virginia where he worked in private practice and also for the Veterans Administration. He has authored multiple papers published in the leading cardiovascular journals. Dr. Haji believes in compassion, communication and expertise in every patient care experience. In his free time, Dr. Haji enjoys studying literature, biking and most of all, enjoys his role as a father.


Magan Hudson

Megan Hudson, FNP-C


Megan Hudson, FNP-C is a Martinsville native who is excited to be providing primary care services to her community. Megan comes to us with 7 years of experience as a registered nurse in various clinical settings. She received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Radford University, and Associate Degree Nurse (RN) from Patrick & Henry Community College. She is Board Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Megan looks forward to caring for patients and contributing to the health of her community, one patient at a time. When she is not at the office, Megan can be found spending time with her husband and two small children.


Linda Soqui

Linda Soqui, FNP-C


Linda Soqui, FNP-C is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Services. She graduated with her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2021 and Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016 from Radford University. Before becoming a provider, Linda was a registered nurse with more than 15 years of experience in outpatient surgery, endoscopy, emergency department, and a specialty practice office in Martinsville, VA and Wilmington, NC. In her free time, Linda enjoys spending time with her son and their 2 doodle pups. She is excited to provide cardiology care to the community.
